T.V. CAREER & PODCAST

Paul has spent his entire working life behind the camera as a Television Director (initially as a trainee in BBC Radio and then as a T.V. vision-mixer). He has worked with many of the UK’s top comedians, although his career began in late 70’s as a sound-fx guy knocking on doors and playing records on BBC Radio!

Since the 90’s he has worked on many top comedy shows including award-winning ‘Live at the Apollo’ and ‘Have I Got News for You’.

Recently he was invited onto a Podcast as part of the series ‘Behind the Scenes’ with comedy Writer and colleague Colin Edmonds. For the first (and maybe last!) time he talks here about his path through the world of Broadcasting, and how he somehow scraped a degree in Physics but went on to Direct T.V. shows! And now he is Producer and Host of his own music tribute show.

You can hear all about it in his chat with Colin here:

You can also listen to the interview on Apple Podcasts.
